“We give back” is a non-profit association founded in 2013 by an entrepreneur. Every year, this businessman redistributes 0.1percent of his revenue to non-profit organizations specialized in environmental conservation, health, education and world hunger.
The objective of “we give back” is to encourage and inspire other companies to do the same by sharing part of the profit they generate. It is, above all, a civically strong and responsible act but it will also profit the company for three reasons:
- First, it is a federative gesture for employees who are proud to work in a company which works for the community and not only to increase its sales or market shares.
- By promoting this commitment toward its customers and consumers, the brand differentiates from others and the company shows a human face, useful from a social point of view.
- By selecting products of the member company, customers and consumers will also contribute to the effort and will redefine the notion of purchasing.
“We give back” gives meaning to everyone’s work and to the place the company has in our society (human capitalism).
